Ethereum Classic now online

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:15 pm

We're pleased to announce that Ethereum Classic mining is now back online for mining. Feel free to submit a support ticket if you have any issues!

If you have a miner that is capable of mining ETC, but which is not capable of mining other ethash coins, you should use the password argument "c=EthereumClassic."

Customers will have to upgrade their miners' firmware to mine with Ethereum Classic. If you use a software miner, check with the developer to see if the new parameters necessary for ETC mining are supported.

Im getting rejected shares as well! Is there a new port or parameters you forgot to mention for us to put to mine on the new ETChash?

I literally just updated my bat file that I was using from another ETC mining pool except I deleted everything after (using certain cards flag) and inputted my prohashing info and all shares are getting rejected. Don't have anything in my bat file besides username and c=EthereumClassic and same rejects.

I also tried another miner and its getting rejected shares as well. Ill await updates or fixes and check back.

Checked dashboard page says "Miner is using an incorrect algorithm." 100% of shares.

Please submit a support ticket about this issue. I thought that we had released a solution to this problem last night, and we are not aware of any widespread issues, so we'll need to troubleshoot your specific configuration.

For people having problems, make sure your algo is now set to use ETCHASH for ETH Classic
