Share corrections issued

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Sat Dec 07, 2019 7:58 am

Good morning!

Yesterday evening, share corrections were issued to all customers who were mining the entire day on Thursday, December 5. You can review what happened that day and what caused the bug in previous "News" posts.

After the bug was resolved, several customers submitted support tickets on the basis that their earnings were too low for the day. Initially, Chris was not able to find a common cause for all of the earnings discrepancies because the claimed losses were different for each customer. Upon further review, however, Chris found that the reason for the differences was that some customers had disconnected their miners during the period of malfunction. The reason for the lowered earnings was that the system triggered a failsafe and placed many coins into error, causing the system to mine the anchor coins for most of the day.

In line with our policy regarding share corrections, we credited all customers who were mining that day with share corrections and a bonus. Customers who disconnected their miners will not see increased earnings. The amount of the corrections is included in messages that were posted to affected customers.

Thanks for mining with us!
