Transaction fee increases

Over the past few days, Chris has reevaluated the transaction fees of all networks and has adjusted our payout thresholds. That process is now complete for all coins. Our target is that the free payout fees should never exceed 0.5% of the transaction amount. The minimum payout threshold should never be less than twice the dust amount, given that users wouldn't otherwise be able to spend the money we sent to them.

Most ERC20 tokens saw a decrease in the minimum payout amount. The most expensive coin is now PIVX, with a minimum threshold of $5 and a default threshold of $100. The minimum payout threshold for bitcoin saw the largest increase and is now at $4, with the default threshold rising to $20.

These fees are still pretty low, and you should expect them to rise as the next bubble winds up. The minimum bitcoin payout amount is likely to rise to $100 or higher, and the free payout threshold is likely to hit $1000. Keep in mind that as transaction fees rise, small transactions we sent to you in the past become dust. You might want to consolidate your wallets by sending your entire balance to yourself before fees rise too high.
