Bitcoin payouts delayed

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Thu Nov 22, 2018 2:44 pm

During the panic sale a few days ago, the bitcoin network reached its 1MB blocksize limit and became overloaded. We've paid enough in fees to execute our fees, but we recently ran out of money because the exchanges have not raised the fees they are paying. An example of an exchange transaction that cannot be spent because it is awaiting confirmation is at https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/a5409 ... 155e258716.

Once this transaction is confirmed, bitcoin payouts will be able to be sent. Chris submitted a support ticket to Cryptopia to see if they are willing to double-spend that transaction in order to get it processed faster. We apologize for the delay and will issue bitcoin payouts as soon as we receive our money!
