ETH client still having synchronization issues

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Tue Sep 04, 2018 12:17 pm

The ETH client is still encountering network synchronization issues, and the mining server has to disconnect all ETH miners when the latest blocks haven't been received. Vance has been working on determining why the ETH client can't synchronize with the network since Friday and has yet to determine the cause of the problem.

We're continuing to investigate. In the meantime, those trying to static mine ETH will probably see disconnections every time the daemon goes out of sync with the network.

My Geth node kept felling out of sync about two months ago and I was forced to go to POOL mining at ethermine.org.

It’s only going to become harder to keep it synced. I noticed at the end at least 5 daily chain reorgs of 10+ blocks.

ETH really needs the HF in November.

No issues keeping my ETC up to sync.
