Review of things accomplished today

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Sun Aug 27, 2017 4:20 pm

Here's a quick review of things we accomplished today.
  • Chris corrected the network connectivity problems with Javapipe. We are not currently aware of any connectivity issues. You should check your connection if you believe that something is still wrong.
  • We released a new version of the mining server that improved performance in some minor ways that seems to have stabilized the system.
  • There have been no lost shares since 3:20pm and no other errors. If you think your earnings are low or your hashrate is low since then, there is most likely something wrong with your equipment, or it is possible that performance from before then is being averaged with current performance.
  • Chris will correct shares for this morning but does not anticipate any share corrections for this afternoon, now that the system appears stable.
  • There are currently 160 backlogged tickets. I closed 30 of them. Now that the system is stable, our top priority will be to close the remaining tickets over the next few days.
  • Finally, we've been getting a lot of job applicants over the past few days from developers. We appreciate everyone's willingness to help, but the skillset we need is legality and taxes. Feel free to contact us if you are a tax lawyer in the cryptocurrency industry; otherwise, we'll announce if developers are needed in the future.
