Coins to mine with low-end GPU and CPU

Post by awesomus » Mon May 17, 2021 7:48 am

Hey everyone! So, I've got:
  • an NVidia GTX 960M with 2GB RAM.
  • i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 cores)
My question is which are the best algos and coins to mine on here? I tried mining ETH and ETC, but it looks like my memory is too low. It seems like Scrypt is better suited, but that's for CPUs, right?

If there's a thread about this on here, sorry for opening a duplicate and please share the link :D

Probably Monero/RandomX for the CPU and ETHash-lowmemory for the GPU.

ETHash-lowmemory needs more than 2GB (discovered this a week or two ago)
