SimpleMining.net with TeamRedRider miner

Post by rosic1 » Wed Jul 29, 2020 9:12 am

I'm trying to use TeamRedMiner and I can't seem to get it to work.
My config is:
-a ethash -o stratum+ssl://prohashing.com:3339 -user x -p a=ethash,w=337,p=.23,n=Enterprise,o=apollo --api_listen --watchdog_script
( x is my prohasing user name)

The miner keeps throwing the error: Pool prohashing.com sending subscribe failed
followed by: Pool prohasing.com switching to eth proxy mode.

Does anybody have any ideas?

The first part I noticed is that you have stratum+ssl:// listed. The pool doesn't support SSL, so perhaps stratum+tcp:// is what you're looking for?

I wish there was a face palm emjoi. lol
That was it. I changed it to TCP and it threw a few other errors that I was able to figure out.
Thanks for the help.
