Those miners from Bitmain are almost always backordered, so they take longer to get than a miner that you have. I find it strange that they would sell for so much more, especially given that this has a very large power supply.
As to the previous post, I doubt that paying in coins was an issue. Nobody said that at the time, and it's not like we could just run away without anyone knowing who we were.
I do recall that whoever it was might have been trying to avoid taxes, however - and if so, then we didn't want anything to do with that. The IRS often requests information from companies people do business with when those people aren't paying their taxes. Even if we thought it was OK for people to drive on roads that we pay for without their paying a dime, we don't need to waste our money restoring a database to find information the IRS requests to deal with someone else's problems.
