Most economical coin to get paid in?

I'm a small-fry miner, only have a single D3 and love getting paid in LTC every day.

But I'm just curious if there is another currency that is better to be paid in (for less intense miners)? One that doesn't have near the transfer fees of LTC, ETH, etc.

Am debating getting paid out in VTC and then transferring to LTC when I have enough. Just curious what others in my boat might do.

Thanks in advance, cheers!

litecoin has a very lo threshold which once reached means zero fees. $2.00
ETC Etherum Classic has even lower threshold b4 no fees. $1.00
I have set these up to pay and cop zero fees.

Hope that helps

actually for now you have the best coin. just keep at it and wait for the no fee threshold. otherwise you will have to watch the market pretty close with dash and compare values with other coins rising and falling to see what your best payout coin is compared to dash's up and downs.

I am also pretty new to this... Can someone please explain how to calculate which coin is most profitable? greaseman316 mentions keeping an eye on Dash, but how does the price of Dash(I also own D3's) factor into the calculation?

Is it a case of "see how much Dash I can mine in a day, then convert that to BTC(or some other base currency) and do the same experiment with each other coin as a comparison"? Surely there must be an easier, less time-consuming way...

There is no coin more profitable. There is only the coin you select as your payout.
You get the same $100 of BTC or $100 of LTC or $100 of DASH or VERTCOIN or whatever.

Basically what you are asking is, which weighs more, a pound of bricks or a pound of feathers?
The answer to both questions is: YES.

Thanks, Seovit for the info on fees! That makes sense, and I'm always keeping things above that threshold.

iRATe -- D3's mine the x11 algorithm, which in my case means about 75% of the time they are mining DASH. You and I are benefitting from the recent rise in Dash's price, as I've seen some of my daily payouts go 10-20% higher than normal.

Appleminer is dead right, as Prohashing does the hard stuff for you and decides which is most profitable at any point in time and uses your equipment to mine for that coin. All you have to do is ensure the coin you are paid in stays stable, or hopefully improves.

I'm going to stick with LTC for now, thanks all.

That’s a pretty solid article with good analysis. I like the technical part. DASH may be not the best currency, but it deserves some attention from traders and investors. I have this coin in portfolio and I hope it will grow in future. For everybody, who interested in receiving DASH, I suggest to pay attention at mind cloud services which support this token (for instance, IQ with their bonuses – http://topminers.net/mining-promo-codes ... romo-code/ ). Another way to get DASH is buying from exchanges but you will need BTC or ETH to close the deal.
