Re: L3+ Owner "Dead Pool" Observation -- Not Related to the Movie.

Re: Mining scrypt with payout in LTC.

That's correct. It's really not worth it if you are getting a coin in the same algo as you, otherwise you can make more elsewhere. I put my L3+ on litecoinpool since i get more money there and i want litecoin, whereas i will put my x11 or sha256 miner etc. if/when i get them on here since it'll payo...

Re: Status as of Friday, March 23, 2018

Every bit of profit counts, but given how much work it is to add new algorithms and how much money is lost initially due to bugs in their implementations, at this point I don't see how we could earn enough to pay back the implementation costs. To be fair, the sooner you get these lower coins added,...

Re: any recommendation with password arguments and L3+

Don't use anything other then potentially naming your L3+, the best results will be from no password arguments unless you are planning on solo mining

Re: Status as of Friday, March 23, 2018

As soon as Monero switches algorithms, the ASIC manufacturers will create hardware for the new algorithm. Are they going to just keep switching every few months? Oh i don't disagree with that. I think it's pointless to fight ASICs by jumping algos. Not sure if there is a different way to do it thou...

Re: Status as of Friday, March 23, 2018

This is bad news for Monero, and good news for us. Perhaps you might recall differently, but I've never seen a coin hard fork to a different algorithm and succeed, ever. But if it does succeed, it means that we'll still have a CPU algorithm available. It'll succeed because GPUs will go after it. If...

Re: Cheap Knock-Off GPUs, any experience with them?

instead of everyone just making ASSUMPTIONS. There's no assumptions being made, you're just unwilling to see facts that are staring you right in the face. Facts are this: The link posted here is of a fake GTX 960 that in reality is a GTS 450, and is expensive for a GTS 450 These cards would be fair...

Re: Cheap Knock-Off GPUs, any experience with them?

My god you are thick. And the "original poster" was not asking if a GTX 960 would be a good buy, he was asking if buying a fake-GTX 960 would be a good buy, and that would be a no. It would not even remotely do the stats you are stating, since it's a GTS 450. I don't need to ask the seller...

Re: Cheap Knock-Off GPUs, any experience with them?

Can a moderator come into this forum and tell AURA to stop making assumptions with no data to back it up. I guess you can't read because i have given all the information very clearly, there is literally no more amount of information to give, and yet you seem so hell bent on convincing someone to ge...

Re: Cheap Knock-Off GPUs, any experience with them?

Again, they altered the firmware--so it may not perform exactly like the original...this one may now use more wattage than the original was every designed to carry so it may use MORE power than a store bought orginal. .... What part of "Not a GTX 960, but is instead a GTS 450" do you not ...
