Explosive and sudden change is common

Unlike Mike Hearn, I'm not ready to say that bitcoin is dead yet, but the project is definitely on life support. I do believe that absent some action soon, we are going to see a very rapid event where faith in bitcoin is suddenly and permanently lost. A study of societies in the world reveals that m...

Re: Share corrections

I think that on February 29, we got the last major issues out. There is still two problems Chris is going to release fixes for in about two hours: reassigning variable difficulties for some users, and miners having no coin assignments that causes about 0.2% rejected shares. The system should now be ...

One of the main reasons we want to reduce bitcoin payouts is that we can't set the fees that exchanges use to send us money, and the bitcoin network doesn't allow recipients to pay more to process a transaction. We need six or more transactions to all go through ...

Altcoins recommended for payouts

The bitcoin network has maxed out its capacity and, as a result, the transaction we sent this morning to pay users remains unconfirmed after 16 hours. Because of the way the network works, we can't withdrawal the transaction, which means our only choice is to wait and see when the transaction confir...

Re: Account balance displaying negative value and balance

You mean 200% LTC? We're getting surprising results now that Chris is fixing all the coins and adding markets to the new software. Wait until we resolve the remaining issues over the next few days!

Good evening! Here are a few updates on recent development. We thank everyone for putting up with the issues that some have encountered over the past week. While the overflowing "id" column problem on Saturday night was unrelated, many of these issues have occurred as a result of our recen...

Re: Electricity Usage not showing/updating on total earnings graph

Thanks a lot! It will help us get all the issues that have popped up with the system since yesterday's major upgrades resolved so that we are ready for a massive number of incoming customers in future months.

Re: Code for Litecoin BIP101/4

I noticed some messages commenting on a possible bug in the code. I want to stress to those reading that this code is not to be deployed to production on any network in its current state. As stated earlier, it does not pass all of the tests, and nobody except me has reviewed it. More work is necessa...

Code for Litecoin BIP101/4

Today, I'm going to provide a status update for BIP101 on litecoin. I also want to make some comments on the current state of bitcoin development, especially in regards to the recent letter calling for delay in implementing Bitcoin Classic. Those who have been following my writings know that I am op...
