Re: Status as of Sunday, April 1, 2018
So is there some clear guidelines to what is considered a low luck miner? like do they need to be able to solve 10 blocks a day on autoswitch pps that don't get orphaned? or is it just that they submit too many small shares? i'm sure there's some formula to determine low luck but i don't know what i...

Re: Stale Shares, penalty and earnings
current restart penalty 1.00 is normal, it means 100% of normal earnings. if it's greater than 1 you're getting a bonus for quicker than average work restart delay, if it's less than 1 then there's a penalty for long work restart delays. which is determined by how fast your miner submits a share aft...

Re: Is it a solo?
i think he means the difficulty of a submitted share versus network difficulty. a scrypt difficulty of 1 is 65536 in the miner. so a network difficulty of 190 would need a share difficulty of more than 12,451,840 to solve a block

Re: How exactly do we get paid for found blocks?
if you're mining in PPS mode, the pool gets the block reward and miners get paid per share in whatever their payout coin(s) may be. solo mined coins need to be confirmed and then when you've earned enough to pass the payout threshold it will pay out once a day. also there might be some delays in the...

Re: nVidia 1060 and an i7 7700 - what miner can I use?
i think best options for equihash miner for newer nvidia cards is dstm's zm 0.6 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2021765.0 or ewbf which you probably already have if you have nicehashminerlegacy installed with all of the miners downloaded, it's in the 3rd party bin folder. if you wanted to tr...

Re: regarding lketc miner
you can set a static difficulty as low as 16384. if your miner can find shares at 65536 starting difficulty on dynamic difficulty then leave it on dynamic and it can go down to 8192. i didn't know lketc miners would work with zeus software. i own a couple zeus miners and use a different version of b...

Re: No Shares EVER
what hardware are you using? scrypt and x11 algorithm coins aren't very profitable unless you have asic hardware. equihash mining is probably the most profitable on prohashing for gpu or cpu. also depending on the hardware you have and the algorithm you want to mine you should pick more efficient mi...

Re: Referral links
i've never heard of a pool that does that, and i don't know how they would differentiate between new miners and people exploiting referral bonuses. also, until prohashing can support that many concurrent workers, it might not be possible. i'm not sure what the maximum is now, probably at least 20,00...

Re: Equihash Mining Examples
i've been using ewbf for nvidia gtx 750 and gtx 960 with this bat file miner --server prohashing.com --user spauk --pass "a=equihash n=gtx750" --port 3333 --fee 0 i got the ewbf miner with an installation of nicehashminerlegacy in the 3rd party bin folder and just made a new bat file. not ...
