Re: Prohashing app for android/IOS

The website should not be logging you out constantly. If it is, that's a bug. Could you describe that issue in further detail, so that Michael can address it? If the website is configured for frequent logouts, then maybe a good solution would be to only require re-login for write operations, like c...

Re: Prohashing app for android/IOS

People really want to see an app comparable to nicehash that shows you all of the stats and makes it easy. I personally don't, but having spoken to many new miners they find the details to be quite daunting. Creating an app isn't as easy as most people expect though - but I expect if you did so a l...

Re: question about pplns stats

If I understand correctly, PPLNS stats for rounds resets every time the server resets which happens pretty regularly. The majority of the coins being mined (especially high difficulty ones) all show as working on the "First Round" pretty much all the time as a result.

Re: T-Rex or PheonixMiner

I have heard they are pretty even as well. I personally use Gminer as that was the program Prohashing recommended in their GPU quick start guide and I liked it enough that I didn't feel a need to experiment with GPU miners (CPU mining is another story entirely). It supports a bunch of different algo...

Re: GPU Rigs...whaddya got/

I am in the same boat bMeister1. I have a few 1065 4gb cards. They are all but done. Mining etchash low memory but other than that that are useless. Wish I could grab something newer but I would have to sell a kidney to afford it. Then you have to wonder when Nvidia is going to nerf the hash on it....

Re: GPU Rigs...whaddya got/

I know that a lot of people want KAWPOW to be added here, and it's definitely on the list. As soon as Vance gets Chia mining done, we'll do an analysis as to whether we can make money by offering KAWPOW mining with the aim of either having it released or not in October. That would be phenomenal! I ...

Re: GPU Rigs...whaddya got/

If you're putting out 250MH/s with just AMD GPUs on Ethash, that's nothing to sneeze at! I have some older nVidia GPUs; A GTX1050Ti whose best result is 13.5 MH/s on Etchash (not enough VRAM for Ethash unfortunately) and an AMD Sapphire R9 380 doing 18.3 MH/s on Etchash. I'm also hosting a pair of e...

Re: Trusted mining question

yeah guess that doesn't work with Iphones... Safari doesn't locate the camera, so no go... oh well. I did mine on Safari with my iPhone 12 and I've done in-browser camera stuff as far back as iPhone 8 so it is possible. It should ask for permission to access the camera before it works. If it doesn'...

Re: Mining server restart today

Dang, 8,000 new miners is quite the catch! I assume these new API calls will be publicly available to use as well?
