Re: Status as of Monday, September 25, 2017

There are two issues of note this evening: a new release, and DDoS attacks. Another issue that Chris is investigating is DDoS attacks. Apparently, someone's website is being DDoS attacked, and it turns out that our system is one of many performing these attacks. Further investigation reveals that w...

Re: Status as of Thursday, September 21, 2017

I thought that the proof-of-work period ended in five months. Is that not true? But even if Bitconnectcoin stays profitable, it's a sad fact for miners coming online now that the best they can probably hope for is one cent, in the best-case scenario. The last generation of miners was running at 2 c...

Re: Status as of Thursday, September 21, 2017

Hi Steve and Chris, What will happen when Bitconnectcoin changes to POS? Just wanted to share my concern. Thanks, Perry When Bitconnectcoin goes POS, that will probably cut the profitability of scrypt across the board by half. That was already assumed in our profit projections, which is why I estim...

Re: Restarted server

I restarted the mining server because the L3 connectivity issues returned, and it seems like restarting appears to resolve those issues temporarily. We will restart every 12 hours until the problem is determined. Chris is going to try to get some L3s in hand to try to reproduce this issue in person...

Re: Restarted server

Ok, I'm seeing exactly the same behavior now. Check the chat box too, so are others. I refreshed my browser about 5 minutes ago and as of now I'm showing 110 miners at 6.48 GH/s with most showing 0 hashrate and 'No Valid Share yet' So that's roughly 30 hours since you posted this restart message tha...

Re: New Innosilicon A4+ released 550Mh/s @ 700w

@Eyedol-X - As it says in the post the final price will be based on the final speed multiplied by by this factor (final speed/280) * $1500 (the current public price of an A4) which at 550Mh/s works out to be $2946 If they squeeze more out of it (they told me they expect 10% more in the final build) ...
