Cryptonight algo

Hi, You mentioned you might bring in Cryptonight as an algo we can mine here.

I have a coin I mine which I would like to support through solo mining, but I can't seem to get it hooked up locally.

Any chance to start this here?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/63yo27/some_circumstantial_evidence_supporting_the_claim/dfy5o65/ Thank you! I will probably spend the morning trying to figure it out! Or I would have if both the links hadn't been taken down. Back to writing about some crypto stuff... I'd like to eat next...

Re: What coins do you get paid out in?

In terms of making a profit, have you done any scenarios about which coin will rise fastest? The price of the coin is not going to make any difference to your PROFIT which is what you want. Example: Coin A - you have $2 worth and it rises 10% - when you sell you have $2.20 Coin B - you have $2 worth...

Re: Website Proposal for Miner Grouping

Depending where you live requirements may vary. Thank you for coming back with this.. For me, I'm trying not to sell until then as the £ "may/will/will be made to" tank again. I'm checking with someone about UK law. As I understand it, currently in the UK, if you make less than £1k/annum ...

Re: Website Proposal for Miner Grouping

Constance thanks for coming back on this. I'm well aware that I push the boundaries of what most organisations envisage. Fewer accounts is better :)

For me, this is a hobby income to supplement my supposed retirement.

From the PDF: ... feature requests such as organizing pool boxes based on personal preference and other such settings that we are not considering in this. We will get more into that later in the year, for now only minimization on a session basis or a trail of saving minimization settings is being c...

Re: Asic Boost for S7

I have the same question for the S9. I believe someone here knows and hope that they will share that knowledge... If I find out another way, I will let you know!

Re: ASICBOOST to be released this evening

All that I know is that if ASICBOOST is requested, the mining server will respond and offer it beginning after this release. If you do find out how to make S9s use it, please post here so that other customers can use it too. I will certain help out my fellow miners - if there is a way to stop us lo...

Re: ASICBOOST to be released this evening

So I saw a post about Bitmain S9 miners having the ability for ASIC Boost, but I can find no other references except for the patent site which says you have to apply for a patent and only another manufacturer flogging ASICBoost hardware. I made an assumption that the S9 would just need a settings sw...

Re: ASICBOOST to be released this evening

Steve, I've had no response about getting an end user licence - any chance someone could do a "how-to" guide to get it, install it, and anything needed to be specified with Prohashing?
