Re: Alternatives to Coinbase in the UK (and you are not a WHALE)
I found another way to transfer earnings to the UK https://transferwise.com/u/darrenw139 Borderless account, have a UK, US and EU account so transfer coins to coinbase transfer to new US account, transfer with 0.35% fee to UK account with market rate exchange and then 50p transfer to UK bank. Also y...

Re: Alternatives to Coinbase in the UK (and you are not a WHALE)
The 7.5% loss was due to my bank converting from the euro payment and I guess it will be the same for coinbase when its transferred from one of their European banks. I am not certain why LBX charge so much for a technically free service in the UK but I might ask the question through their support pa...

Re: Alternatives to Coinbase in the UK (and you are not a WHALE)
This seems quite high. EG giving 3% of £1000 is £30, so the "best option" is £10/month + 1% which would be £20 minimum. I will wait until they build their fees page which is surprisingly blank. It's better than I had recently when I did a test trade with a Dutch company, I sold 1 ltc when...

Re: Alternatives to Coinbase in the UK (and you are not a WHALE)
Hi Guys, I found this recently through reddit London Block Exchange lbx.com they are UK based and transfer from a UK account. They only have an iPhone app at the moment but the android and Web page is due soon. You will need to upload, bank statement, form of id and holding id with a selfie. They ha...

Re: L3+ oil cooled
On top of that if you ever had some sort of critical failure where you exceeded the flash point of the oil (lightning/act of god/whatever) and you ended up with a nice oil fire.... try explaining that to an insurance company and having them cover the damages... Good point, hopefully I could build i...

Re: L3+ oil cooled
@holygoof cheers for the offer if I decide to speed up and can't do it I'll give you a shout :D After turning the fans around they are running cooler and with the fans at much lower rpm 3.6k and 2.9 instead of 4.5k and 3.5k so a massive difference in noise too. If the fans are not working the l3 won...

Re: L3+ oil cooled
Will try and work on it next week but off work for a few days and that's where most of the cooling stuff is. @zafar I did have the psu in the oil but thought it was just making the oil hotter so re installed the fan and left it outside. I think keeping in the oil definitely will be better from the r...

Re: Website Wishlist
On the mobile view automatically hide the menu section after choosing payment/setting/charts etc instead of having to click the 3 bars every time.

L3+ oil cooled
https://youtu.be/ceTUKvyxktk Antminer L3+ oil cooled. This is my first trial and error system. I am using oil from some oil cooled electronic equipment so had no worries about it causing an issue. The best thing I found from the test is that the HW errors were 0 at 450Mhz overclock and minimum at 45...
