Re: What is the easiest way to get Bitcoin Cash Wallet?

Get Electrum Cash. It's a SPV wallet so doesn't need full Bitcoin Cash blockchain. Then sweep your BTC private keys in which will transfer your Bitcoin Cash from your old BTC addresses and transaction (that still exist on the forked blockchain) into your new Bitcoin Cash wallet.

Re: Status as of Monday, July 31, 2017

The only part where NiceHash should become a concern to us is if people using their servers overload ours, which is what we're already striving to improve. Once our server overload problem is resolved, I have difficulty justifying a reason why we should pay any attention to conditions on NiceHash. ...

Re: Status as of Monday, July 31, 2017

100x times fast sounds great :) *fingers crossed* A possibility to handle those burst NH rentals (bots): Is is possible to delay wamp data by amount x? With this bots would be useless. And your normal NH renter does not get hurt Yes! I also like this idea and had suggested a variation of it seeing ...

Re: Status as of Saturday, July 29, 2017

swing miners cone fromNH bots measuring price vs ph profitability over x time, once pool hashrate or workers hits a specific threshold cutting bots access off to api will compleatly disable the automates swing miners from calculating the profit, therefor keeping them off the pool. Sorry GGH, I've g...

Re: Status as of Saturday, July 29, 2017

my gripe is, besides TTL, is there any reason not to at least try the options we've laid out as a community.. i'm sure if steve said ok we will try x, based on user feedback, we would be totally ok with TTL TTL? Time to Live? Is this what you're proposing GGH? i propose a secondary measure. when ha...

Re: Status as of Saturday, July 29, 2017

As one of the smaller miners, raising the pool fee would probably drive me away, depending on how much of a rise it is. hes proposing double, so 10% . That was only a finger in the air suggestion to illustrate the point and only to be imposed on anyone who mines briefly during times of high profits...

Re: Status as of Saturday, July 29, 2017

And herein lies a big problem here. Someone misinterprets whats been said, rails against it and then starts a new discussion which is miles away from the starting point. Problem statement: "As long as PH is more profitable than mining on any other pool, any new capacity will be exhausted by min...

Re: Status as of Saturday, July 29, 2017

Lets examine some of the ideas. 1.) Limit Users: User buys more or faster miners - solution broken 2.) Limit connections: User builds local stratum proxy (single connection), OR user buys faster miners (same number of connections) - solution broken 3.) Limit hashrate: Theoretically this has potentia...

Re: Downtime this morning

That won't work either as most users will have multiple miners behind a single NAT address per location and doesn't account for hosted miners, and local stratum proxies. Limiting connections won't work either because of the variation in hash power per miner where you could have 1 account with 330 M...
