It's time to move on

The increasing probability of a Trump vs. Sanders presidential election, an outcome which I predicted in July, gives me the opportunity to comment on the influence of money in politics. Whether those politics involve running for president or changing the size of bitcoin blocks, those with money cont...

Re: Weird cgminer data being displayed

We'll add this to the list of things to review this weekend.

I don't know why this is happening, but it doesn't have any effect on profitability. For now, you can just ignore it, and we'll investigate whether it's causing more subtle problems over the weekend.

Re: Are You Gonna Add Factom?

Hi Falcon, Yes. It's on the list; however, I wouldn't anticipate it being ready for at least three weekends from now. We need to spend this weekend completing a change we're making that will cause work restart testing to become unnecessary while still preserving its profitability benefits. There is ...

Re: Payout question/gripe

I'll take a look into this. It may just be a problem with terminology and clarity, or perhaps the math on the screen is wrong but the payouts are correct. What's supposed to happen is that the full balance up until midnight the previous day is paid out during the next day.

Re: Small request

Sure. I'll add this to the list of tasks, but I can't promise it will be done soon.

Are you requesting for the collapsed tiles to just remain for the current session, or for them to be saved for future sessions? Saving tiles for future sessions might make the task require a lot of time.

Re: Email Notification

Thanks for the report. I resolved this issue. The cause of the problem was that the hashrates in the database are stored in H/s, but the values in the notifications are stored in MH/s. Therefore, the reported hashrates were off by 1000. I checked in these changes. Since they are not a profit-affecti...

Re: Email Notification

I have set a notification for a hashrate range, but I've only ever received a notification immediately after setting it up, for a nonsensical amount. Specifically, I've received two notifications so far. One when my hashrate was reported at 536,862,600.000 MH/s, and the other reported a hashrate of...

Re: Payout question/gripe

The documentation states that we promise payouts the next day, but do not commit to a time. There are a number of reasons why we don't promise a specific payout time. First, the bitcoin network is limited by its block size, and that causes delays in receiving withdrawals from exchanges. Second, if l...
