Re: Looking for more information about reduced hashrate miners
Steve, from what I'm seeing, the charts appear to show the correct hashrate for Scrypt. However, people may be trying to compare the chart data and the 2 hr avg from the live worker status, which I'm not sure are matching up. I'll update once I can compare them. UPDATE: Numbers appear to be matching...

Re: Worker appear as a line without any information
It's currently occurring on username ryguy. I'll try to see if I can identify any other information that would be helpful.

Re: Worker appear as a line without any information
This problem seems to vary with your choice of web browser. I am usually using Firefox 59.0.2 (64 bit), and I get the one line only for worker status (see my screenshot above.) But when I tried Chrome 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) the worker status looks fine, shows both miners and the co...

Re: A little confused? Solo mining...
What I do is this. I bought a ton of AntMiners on eBay cheap. The ones that use more electricity than what the produce. So, I run all these AntMiners and sell the hashing power. My electricity is free because I have a natural gas well on my property and a huge natural gas generator. So, I run them ...

Re: A little confused? Solo mining...
Yes. Look at the probability of finding a block chart. You have a higher chance of finding a block the longer you run, but don't hit 100% until about 24 hours out. You can't take the expected value of something as a guaranteed value. As an example, the expected value of rolling a six-sided die is 3....

Re: A little confused? Solo mining...
That's not exactly accurate. Based on what I've seen, at your speed you have about a 65% chance of getting a block after about 5 hours. The chance is only 100% after ~24 hours.markdil wrote:I guess it comes down to math. At the speed I am running, I should get a block in every 4+ hours.

Re: A little confused? Solo mining...
The time for the last block is for the entire litecoin network, not for this pool specifically. That the network finds a block in 15 seconds or so is not that surprising given that it has hundreds of TH/s on it.

Re: A little confused? Solo mining...
Where are you getting 15 seconds? I'm sure they'd love to find a block every 15 seconds at this pool, but that's not happening.

Re: A little confused? Solo mining...
Because the reported difficulties on those blocks don't seem to match up to the difficulties of the coin networks. Viacoin, for example, has a difficulty of 585K (at least according to WhatToMine). At your hashrate, I'm seeing an expected time for a litecoin block at about 5 hours, so if you're comi...
