Re: Status as of Friday, August 18, 2017

The 15% difference issue is our temporary fix to the fact that the profitabilities being inserted in the database are 15% too high. For now, we simply adjust downward before publishing earnings data, and eventually we'll be able to figure out exactly what has caused the 15% discrepancy. As Reaper po...

Re: Chris improved website performance

No. The WAMP performance is a separate issue. I know the fix for that, but it's been deprioritized because we are just trying to stay ahead of the tickets.

I hope to get to that next weekend.

Chris improved website performance

Today, Chris was able to detect a crucial issue with the website and he thinks that was what was causing it to crash repeatedly. There must have been some people who repeatedly pressed [F5] to refresh the page when they couldn't access the site, or who have malfunctioning software, and there were a ...

Re: Rejected Share Reasons

The stale shares are primarily caused because the mining server is overloaded and we don't have the manpower to resolve the issue. We plan to perform a profit analysis on August 20 and 22 to determine whether additional investment is likely to generate a return or not. For now, you'll have to make ...

Status as of Friday, August 18, 2017

Hi! Over the past few days, there were duplicate shares inserted that increased profits by 15% over what was promised. Because of the earlier share issues, we don't plan to adjust profit downward, so everyone can consider the additional earnings as a gift for dealing with the issues last week. Thank...

Re: Rejected Share Reasons

I am getting far more "both primary and merged mins shares are stale" errors than incorrect algorithm. Would love to hear some info on this... I am never at 100% efficiency anymore and it's lost money. The stale shares are primarily caused because the mining server is overloaded and we do...

Reduced support Sunday to Tuesday

From Sunday, August 20 to Tuesday, August 22, we will enter "reduced support" mode while we travel to the solar eclipse in the Great Smoky Mountains. During "reduced support" periods, critical issues like downtime and share corrections are addressed immediately, but "stuck c...

Re: Existing customers allowed to add miners?

Its too bad that this pool could not be made to be scalable. Then we would not have to have this restriction. We estimate the cost of increasing capacity at around a quarter million dollars in software engineering. On August 20 and 22, we plan an analysis of whether we could expect to make a profit...

Re: Feature suggestion

Thanks for the suggestion. Someone suggested this before, but we never recorded it in our bugtracker. I can't promise that we'll implement this one anytime soon, as all resources are currently devoted to performance issues. However, we'll record it and consider it in the future, as this is a popular...

Re: Decret Payouts - 5th request

As Greg said, we unfortunately right now need to focus on improving performance. The issues with these other types of coins is that they don't follow the bitcoin API and are not mineable. Therefore, we need to devote additional time to implementing them, and won't earn any revenue from mining. All m...
