Re: Preliminary verified mining results

I'm having trouble getting my DL to be verified so this may not matter for me. The system keeps spitting out an "unexpected error". I've contacted authenteq's support, but this is quite annoying.

Re: Preliminary verified mining results

Will there be a way to find out what the benefit is for different algorithms through the API? I imagine the figures will be changing somewhat regularly (daily, weekly, etc.) and would like a way to set that automatically. EDIT: This may not matter for me as I can't get past the ID verification. Cons...

Re: Proposal: Verified mining

Thanks for considering my thoughts Steve. I know I would appreciate having information that I am approaching low-luck as it would allow me to track down problem rentals and not support them and/or inform the owner of the issues to see if they can do anything about it, assuming they exist. I am inter...

Re: Proposal: Verified mining

The issue with renting others' rigs is that we believe that these other rigs are primarily responsible for the lower luck because whoever is renting those rigs has bad firmware or something else is wrong with them. It's not that you intend to cause problems or even that you know there are problems ...

Re: Proposal: Verified mining

We would have to be more clear about that in the terms - this is just a rough proposal and it hasn't been decided yet. The case we need to address is one where a miner rents a huge amount of hashrate, like $10,000 in a day, and it finds no blocks, like has happened before with ETH. The low-luck min...

Re: Proposal: Verified mining

I suppose I am unclear what your third criteria is proposing in terms of accepting liability for any low luck miners that may be rented. In your documentation you already enforce balance forfeiture and other criteria that can be applied to detected low luck miners. What additional "liability&q...

Re: New website rollout plans

Noticed a small issue for the beta site. When a balance becomes eligible for payout the "Amount Eligible" on the Dashboard displays $1.00 no matter the amount. Looks like it may be taking whether there is any amount eligible (e.g a bit as a 0 or a 1) and translating that to USD instead of ...

Re: New website rollout plans

I am also not that concerned if you want to take away the captcha, but I don't feel that strongly about it either. As for the beta site, the only item I'd like to see is that you seem to be displaying the coin profitability under coin status in terms of USD. Is there a way for an option to toggle be...

Re: Trying to understand cloud mining rental services

Perhaps some of the 1% will respond here. If not, taking the average response of a large number of people will result in better answers than our one guess. That's more of what I was getting at Steve. Asking this in a poll is going to give you a lot of sentiment, but not actual information because y...
