Re: Equihash now available

If restarts are reducing profitability, then he should see an increase if he set g=off, as that should reduce the number of restarts issued to the L3+ units, no?

Re: Status as of Friday, February 23, 2018

The Higher scrypt profitability is because they are mining Scrypt twords Verge with merge mined VIa and DOGE. This is also why you notice so many people coming on to live chat trying to get Verge solo mining working. Its running about 109% LTC for yesterday. What I don't understand is why the algos ...

Re: Comparison between litecoinpool and prohashing - How to reconcile configuration?

Hi - I just started to mine under prohashing. Previously I was mining under litecoinpool and wanted to try mining multiple coins. I see some performance differences and am hoping it's related to my prohashing configuration that can be tweaked somehow before I move the larger part of my setup. LITEC...

Re: First poll, need nominations for choices

This is kinda of stream of consciousness and stream of vodka. So profits -- A cursory look would tend to suggest that if PH's Scrypt earnings for the day is less than 7% over the straight litecoin value, then other pools, such as litecoinpool would be more profitable. This is also assuming payouts a...

Re: Forfeited balance Problem

Sounds like you may be getting hit with the low-luck miner penalty. Unreasonably low luck and socialized losses Some miners have unreasonably low luck. While all miners can have streaks of poor luck in finding blocks, some mining rigs are so unlucky that the number of blocks they submit to the pool ...

The daemon for the coin is in error. Continuing to mine that coin will just increase your loss.

Re: Possible changes to static coin mining

Impose an undocumented feature fee on mined coin of 50% to discourage this behavior. Socialize the fee into the rest of the pool for other miners. S
