Re: Policy change for chat usage

myself pesonally, less moderation is better. certainly, there are instances of the pool being down. though i must admit that those episodes seem to be becoming less and less of late. if it keeps up, i may just bring some rigs back. back to the moderation though. wouldn't it be better to rebut claims...

Re: S9i

They're still max 14TH. The L3++ are factory overclocked L3s though. I just think they're dumping, but still a good enough deal with a coupon. 12nm won't offer that much more performance over 16nm, so if you have access to sub $.08/kWh, I still think they're worth it. Definitely a risk at this poin...

Re: L3+ heat question

No I said exactly what I meant. "Even when the chip or board temps are above 90F?" and "Im not seeing how 90'F air can be pulled across 170'F chips and make them go under 90'F". The warning temp is 80'C for the cutoffs on the bitmains which is what I thought we were talking abou...

Re: L3+ heat question

even 90dF air moving over the chips will cool below 90F Fluid and thermo Dynamics Even when the chip or board temps are above 90F? I get the concept of windchill, the removing of moisture and cooling effect, but the same way plants are immune to the effect, aren't computer chips(hopefully moisture ...

Re: L3+ heat question

Question for someone. I live in Montana and most of us don't have AC here. My L3's are in the garage. We have several weeks where it does get in the 90's here, cools back in the evenings to the 40s or 50s. I was wondering at what point you shut your units down if you feel its getting to hot. I real...

Re: Errors overnight

... no one should restart server without a heads-up... i bitched about just this months ago. to no avail. i don't know of any coder(s) that would implement code without testing it on a test site to be sure that it works. i don't know why they implement code upgrades(?) in a live environment here, i...

... We won't implement the feature unless the amount of money to donate ends up higher than how much it will cost in salaries to create it. ... Is this a one off event or is there ongoing salaries that need to be paid out of said donations? It sounds like an ongoing thing since if it was a one off,...
