Re: Marke goes through the roof... Profits decrease?

yeah im def not meeting my target today despite prices going up. Wondering if prohashing has some updates that cant keep up with the price increase so suddenly.

Hopefully if thats as such we get reimbursed later.

Re: Cryptonight algo

I've started using xmr stak 2.5.2 on my cpus, and cryptodredge 0.9.5 cuda 9.1 on the gpus. i noticed if i just run one instance of cryptodredge and no xmr stak it goes longer without incorrect algorithm rejects, but if xmr stak and cryptodredge are running at the same time (even on seperate compute...

Re: Cryptonight algo

cryptodredge is weird for cryptonight mining in general..like the hash output is legit faster on most of my cards depending on the algo....but then the power use is spikey but then ON AVERAGE uses less power on nvidia cards than XMR-stak. But as mentioned the power usage % is sort of wild and spiky,...

Re: CN8 minng

Yeah its def a different pattern, I left my miner on while i was sleeping about 6-7 hrs and it was going good when I fell asleep then I Wokeup and it was like 60% rejections.....earnings reflect that accurately as well. Thanks for woring on it..only been 3-4 days since CN mining has been introduced ...

Re: Fix for some Monero miners

IDK what you did recently but im getting heavy rejects now as of ~2:30am EST time. I used the e=off earlier and that helped quite a bit I was at 98% efficiency. Now its the worse ive ever witnessed. Just heavy back to back to back rejects.

Assume your working on it/testing right now.

Re: Fix for some Monero miners

Seriously? Im at like 95% but over the last couple hours I got 23 shares marked with incorrect algo error for like a ~5% rejection.

Cryptodredge was giving me rejects as well. I mean its not abnormally high but it is more than usual.

Re: Fix for some Monero miners

Its working better now with XMR-Stak no disconnects now.

But am getting rejected shares and its coming up as "Miner is using an incorrect algorithm."

Im getting proper earnings tho..so obviously its not the wrong algo. Im on port 3341

Re: Fix for some Monero miners

Anyone can confirm what miner algo type that we should use for xmr-stak ? monero OR cryptonight or cryptonight_v8 xmr-stak-v2.5.2 --currency monero -o pool.xxx:port -u xxxxxx -p x --noAMDCache monero is what im saying with XMR-stak 2.5.2... With CryptoDredge I was using -a CNv8 designation fine wit...

What was the response the pool was sending back to the miner causing it to disconnect like that?
