Re: ASIC Multiminers like Baikal
Baikal make another miner which has the capability of mining several algos. Select Product from this link: http://www.baikalminer.com/ At this point Prohashing may not have the ability to support all the algos and I don't believe it supports many of them - only X11 & Quark - as for switching between...

Re: Thoughts on the current downturn
Fantastic perspectives. I believe there have already been a couple of attempts at a national crypto. Some have fallen by the wayside, but may be revived. Time will tell if the one which is on going will survive. It was seen as the answer to currency devaluations, so I'm not sure how it will cope whi...

Re: Algorythm Parent coins are showing 0 profitability
Thanks for raising this - I noticed the same thing and wondered if I should say something. I have faith that the optimisation in place means that the "parent" coin will be mined if it is the most profitable (or near the top)....

Re: Cryptonight (CN) algo plans from discussion and coin hopefuls
Hi there, elsewhere Chris has said that this is good to go. They are just waiting for the last upgrades to go through as well as finding the right exchanges which have an autotrading api. I'm going to assume that it will be at least a week before going live. I think there are many CN ASIC miners of ...

Re: Cryptonight algo
I'm not sure if you know about this already but, if you need to research CN coins, this site is a very good starting point. It lists all CN variants, coins, pools and exchanges. https://www.cryptunit.com/algos Thanks for this - I tend to use miningpools.stream or fairhash.org (to check relative inc...

Re: Cryptonight algo
Hey Steve, just checking in when CN version 0 will be supported. There is at least 8 GH out there mining. Most of it was focused upon ETN ahead of the ENTX / ENTXP forks. The big farms are looking for new targets so I think the smaller ones would be keen to find a place where they could maximise ear...

Re: Coinbase does not deserve to be in business
Chris, i can't wait for the whole industry to have disruption levels of improvements applied. Unfortunately for those of us in the UK, Coinbase is one of the few viable ways to obtain crypto and to receive Crypto payments in GBP into bank accounts - and that is a very recent occurrence. (prior to th...
