Re: Status as of Friday, May 31, 2019

Thanks for the update Steve. Might want to check the settings on support. I had replied to your email - twice. They might not be getting through but my issue - Binance looks like is resolved so I am good.

Looking forward to the new site and my condolence on the family loss

Chris

Well...here. Unless I am missing something. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6244. I KNOW you have more to do than monitor the forum. The person in question should be given a chance to correct the situation, but if not, the banomizer strike.

Re: New forum rule announced

Very good Steve. Also we / PH seem to have known scammers posting items for sale. If that is the case, shouldn't they be banned as well?

Re: Antminer z9 Mini Affordable $650

Here is a good and relatively accurate link to a site that tells you the profitability of asic miners. https://www.asicminervalue.com. A z9 mini is not going to make you 2 to 3k a year btw. More like a few hundred IF and only IF you don't pay anything for electricity.

Re: When mining is no longer profitable

Ziggy is correct IMO. Once this went mainstream and "professional users" starting getting involved it was time to grow up. But from what I see the industry didn't. To many of these "companies" are run by individuals who are immature, have some goofy ass idea about creating a new ...

Re: When mining is no longer profitable

I have a lot of respect for what Ziggy says. That stated, my tax guy does not agree with his interpretation however I guess I will soon find out as I did start a business so I could deduct expenses...and now...cough, cough...loses. Like others I have shut down my miners except for an L3 that keeps t...

Re: Scrypt profitability increase of 4%

Even with the 4% bump, (which I appreciate very much even if it is only for a week), its barely profitable to mine at this point. I am guessing that's the biggest reason.

I generally agree with what you say Steve. I am also looking forward to you getting away from just scrypt mining.

Re: Two underlying factors in the bubble cycle

This is very interesting Steve, I am glad you took the time to type this all out. As a neophyte in this my observation seems to be that coins that are mined do better and are actually worth more than the ones that are not. Wouldn't it also be that once they can be mined that now others have an actua...
