Re: Mining DOGE alone vs. Mining LTC alone;

It's possible to mine DOGE alone; it just doesn't make any sense to do that. You'd be losing half the money you could otherwise make. DOGE is already merge-mined optimally no matter what other coin is being mined, so no action needs to be taken. There's no advantage to mining only one coin during me...

Re: -5% PPLNS bitcoin mining fee for this round!

It only works if you click on the link from the prohashing landing page; clicking on the link produces an error. Get started now! Get started right now by setting your SHA-256 ASICs to use the password arguments "c=bitcoin m=pplns!" The exclamation point on the page shouldn't be part of t...

Re: What matters and what doesn't in the cryptocurrency markets

where are you getting that high of interest on usdc? I'm using blockfi and not seeing anything over like 8% Ledn offers 9.5% on USDC - but that almost certainly won't last into August, given that we alone pumped half a million dollars into their lending portfolio. All the other companies are loweri...

Ethash shares issue resolved

On Friday evening, Chris adjusted the ethash minimum difficulty so that customers with weaker equipment could submit shares more frequently. Re: Watch our new PPLNS video!

I'm going out on a limb and guess PPLNS isn't for the little rigs?.... make more videos btw that, definitely helps a nooB lol TYVM PPLNS isn't for most people. Since you're only mining one coin, it will never approach the profitability of Proswitching, which mines the most profitable coin at all ti...

Watch our new PPLNS video!

We're pleased to announce a new video covering some PPLNS concepts at Prohashing. While PPLNS mining doesn't provide for the profitability increase that Proswitching mining allows, some mining rigs do well by mining a single coin and receiving the merge-mining PPLNS bonuses. This video teaches about...

Steve for the Chia pool will it require the official pool protocol plots or will the OG plots be able to use in pooling, like HPool does ?
Chia mining is so complex that this investigation is still in the early stages, but Vance can answer this question when he has more information.

Re: xmrig - duplicate shares since yesterday

This issue has been resolved. Thanks for your feedback! The cause of the problem was that RandomX requires recalculation of different work for every person. In yesterday's release, we changed the calculation of work for other algorithms back to once per block using a different method, which reduced ...
