Re: Verge payouts delayed indefinitely

This issue has now been resolved, although it may be a day before we are able to respond to and close all the tickets relating to payout issues with this coin.

Re: Verge payouts delayed indefinitely

I just got further information on this issue. It turns out that the cause of this problem is that the Verge client deletes the entire blockchain upon starting the upgrade, without prompting the user! That's why it is taking so long. Chris will be contacting the Verge developers and asking why the da...

Re: Improved website performance

So, if someone typed in the wrong and then saved those credentials, and the page reloaded, and tried to apply the credentials 26 times and got the IP banned...how would that user go about getting their IP unbanned if possible. Will there be some type of warning when they try to go to login "yo...

Improved website performance

Over the past few weeks, website performance has become a problem. At first, we simply increased the number of cores on the server to 6, but CPU usage then increased to a steady 1200%. After some investigation, I determined that, for some reason, the url /user/checkPassword was being called 570 time...

Re: Verge payouts delayed indefinitely

Updated: it looks like we can track the progress of Verge by looking at the block explorer and seeing what percentage of it is indexed. In this case, since we already have the transactions in our database, we want the "latest block" on the daemon to increase towards our indexed block numbe...

Verge payouts delayed indefinitely

The Verge developers announced a hard fork, so we upgraded our daemon in preparation for the fork. That involved redownloading the blockchain and reindexing it, which usually takes up to 2 days. However, the process is still ongoing for an unknown reason. Chris is investigating the cause, but he mig...

Re: Verge and Campus Coin issues

I suggest submitting a support ticket to Chris. He's responsible for investigating this type of issue, and if you send him a ticket, he can look into what the problem might be with Campuscoin. With Verge, orphan rates are typically very high for that coin, because it's one of those coins where the d...

Re: Status as of Monday, January 15, 2018

I went to go give the Coinbase bitcoin payout thing a try. Unless I was misunderstanding how to set it up, it was asking for authorization to sell bitcoin. I ended up not trying it. Why is that necessary? Actually, why is any api authorization necessary for that on our end? I'm pretty sure you can ...

Status as of Monday, January 15, 2018

Good morning! ⋅  We've been using the support tickets to determine where our effort should be concentrated. We've seen one ticket per day concerned with mining issues recently, which seems to indicate to me that the two months of focus on the mining server has nearly eliminated its issues....

This coin hasn't had any blocks since January 13 at 11:00pm. Since nobody is mining the coin, the blocks will never mature. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until someone mines more blocks before your blocks will mature.
