Any advice?

Could you send me the error message you receive in the miners that you receive when trying to connect?

Re: Website Wishlist - The Exchange

Make it so people on the site can sit in a chat room and then allow them to trade coins based on there onsite coin amounts. So the payout is unaffected and it could also be you can trade with addresses... The reason for this is relative to the fact: A miner can mine the most coins as solo and the c...

Re: ASICBOOST to be released this evening

So I saw a post about Bitmain S9 miners having the ability for ASIC Boost, but I can find no other references except for the patent site which says you have to apply for a patent and only another manufacturer flogging ASICBoost hardware. I made an assumption that the S9 would just need a settings s...

Re: ASICBOOST to be released this evening

Yep.

I'm not sure what license you're referring to. No license is necessary to use ASICBOOST miners. If you want to design a hardware miner that uses ASICBOOST, you have to give up all your patents, but that isn't relevant to miners here.

It depends on how the miner implements the technology. With the miners we tested, the improvement is about 20%. There are probably miners that only get a small increase, and unsupported miners won't earn anything.

ASICBOOST to be released this evening

I'm pleased to announce that ASICBOOST support will be made available later this evening, after a one-minute mining server restart. Elton Halbrooks has been instrumental in the implementation of ASICBOOST and I want to thank him for allowing us to use his miners for testing.

Enjoy the new feature!

Good morning! ⋅  Today is the final day to offer your advice on the new miner grouping features, which will resolve the #1 suggestion in the website wishlist where many customers want to organize their miners by algorithm or location. Tomorrow, the featureset will be frozen and implementat...

Chris got one of the errors!

I'm happy to announce that we finally got one of the bugs that's been causing constant problems for the past few months. This one took about 100 hours to figure out. The cause of the problem was that when there is a network disconnect, block notifications incoming from the data get queued in an arra...

Database got behind earlier

The database got behind earlier today, but is catching up. The hashrate charts will adjust upward after all the shares are inserted. We're still trying to figure out what happens to the system around 1:00 or 3:00pm EDT periodically, and this has stopped all our progress on mining server improvements...
