I agree that the policy has that appearance; however, PH is not a fly-by-night operation. One of their big selling points is that people know who the operators are and that they try very hard to keep the operation legal. I nearly died of a heart attack when I saw balances today. Almost $200 per L3+ in earnings today. Sweet lord jesus I'm coming home! Yea, something does seem out of wack.

So, if low luck miners switch to mining a static coin that takes little luck to find a block (Like today is Rabbitcoin, DonationCoin, or Trinity for Scrypt), then would they be classified as non-low-luck miners? (and at the same time rule out the evil-miner-selling-hashpower-to-cloud-mining-services...

Your difficulty is also too low. I think the minimum difficulty allowed for scrypt is 65536.

I'm reminded of an older article -- https://blog.erratasec.com/2014/03/game-theory-cheating-at-bitcoin-mining.html. It would be interesting to discover that a cloud miner or perhaps even a firmware update provider had implemented this cheat. The person performing the mining may not even be the wise...

There is also BitGem, Zero, and Hush. However, I think that they are only available on Cryptopia -- and I'm not sure about the depth of their order books. BitGem is also on Trade by Trade.
