Re: When mining is no longer profitable

I have (12) S9 units and (12) L3+ but most are shut down too. I was looking forward to this time of year when I could run everything and not need to deal with the heat issue (live in Rhode Island) but I never thought it would get to the point when the generated income does not even cover the electr...

Re: Scrypt profitability increase of 4%

Since we found a lot of bitcoin blocks, we decided to increase scrypt profitability by 4% this week, beginning immediately, even though this will cause us losses. There were some customers who complained that litecoinpool was paying more than here. This experiment will allow us to determine whether...

Re: The Current State of ASIC Scrypt Mining...

Re: The Current State of ASIC Scrypt Mining...

Not when the price drops 5% and the difficulty didnt improve by at least that amount. It all comes down to how much they pay for electricity. Is the (amount of coins earned per day) X (the price of those coins) > electric fees charged. If you earned 2 coins a month, and at max they were worth $130 ...

Re: The Current State of ASIC Scrypt Mining...

Hello Back CS. This page gives a pretty accurate cross section of the META Sorry CURRENT State of Scrypt ASIC mining: https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator-asic/ It lines up with my personal calculations depending on which pool one is logged into. IN my case 2 correctly configured L3+ mach...

Re: Status as of Tuesday, April 3, 2018

Good morning! ⋅  Last night, Chris successfully changed the load balancer so that it would better allocate connections to mining servers. Previously, we allocated 1/4 of all IP addresses to each server. Now, two servers have 3/16 of IPs, and the other two have 5/16 of IPs. That should imp...

Re: Policy changes coming this weekend

There will be a few policy changes coming this weekend, which will affect a large number of customers. First, attempting to log into more than five accounts with invalid passwords will result in a permanent ban for that IP address. There doesn't seem to be any legitimate reason why one address woul...
