is my hardware defective?

I have a small asic device (gridseed), Want to get more but according to cgminer, set @ a speed (conservitive) where hardware erros and rejects are rare. Increase in mh/s makes hardware and rejects increase. Tweek higher seems detrinental. The speed (megahash accepted rate) can fluctuate between 6.3...

Payout took a dive

A week ago the payout was 3.95 per mhs. That was enough to justify an entertainment value, just a bit below electricity cost. Today it's 3.04, other pools are paying less, some much much less. Does anyone have a link that explains what is going on and when/if I can turn my stuff back on?

Re: Weird cgminer data being displayed

Yes, I'm on cgminer 3.7.2 and I have seen the same thing. I sent in an email The response from Christopeher was that after checking the database, everything looked pretty much in line but would continue to monitor the situation. Sometimes the block shows up on the stats page and other times it doesn...

Re: Thoughts from a Newbie

I may have, sort of, done something right. O.K.....I don't understand this. I did an edit on the batch file. It seems that setting a difficulty d=8192 helps quite a bit. The 'accepted hashrate' on the status page appears to be much better. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I am leaving it th...

Re: Thoughts from a Newbie

Some1notu... The power that is running my little turtle is placed behind the rather cool exhaust from this thing. I'm not sure if my electric bill is smaller than last year because of the minimal heat or I'm just paying attention. I am able to monitor,it's electrical requirements. From what the elec...

Chris.... When you look into Search Optimisation, be sure you think about the forum pages. It's my understanding that search engines love pages that change on a regular basis.
