Looks like my BTC is back accumulating and up to date. I have a few dollars in LTC which isn’t a big deal since I have an address I can use.
@ Simon_says « Fri 10:48 am »
Same here, only have BTC address payout and now I am accumulating LTC. Could somebody fix this as it was beforeplease.
@ mad4mining « Fri 9:28 am »
Settings was for BTC payout only. Suddenly LTC & BTC this morning. Now looks like only LTC accumulating. Not sure why or what happened. :?
@ Tomas_Novak « Fri 9:17 am »
Why do I see my LTC payout? I only have BTC and BTC wallet.

The SHA-256 algo difficulty increases every 14 days. On avergage it’s over 8% every 2 week. One place to see the increases (including past history) is https://btc.com/stats/diff or the difficulty for each coin https://www.coinwarz.com/charts/difficulty-charts. For example, btc difficulty has increased 54% in the last 90 days.
If I wasn’t being clear, I’m using an L3+. Looks like difficulty is down since acquiring the miner. LTC value has also roughly halved though

Everyone’s situation is different...but if the rigs aren’t profitable, who is going to buy it? The goal now is to decide if you mine and HODL your coins, will they be worth more in 1 mth, 6mths or a year from now. If btc or ltc is worth 2x or 5x what it is today the mining has paid off. If you have to pay electrical costs from your mining profits, then you have a problem.

The bigger issue is new manufacturers that have higher hashrate systems for less power consumption (bigger profits). BITMAIN isn’t the only player. Most of their rigs aren’t profitable in most electrical markets. We need to see an increase in Bitcoin usage and higher/more fees per transaction. This is the crypto winter of 2018.

No. You’ll see multiple miners listed and receive credit for all of them

Any chance of seeing a post of SOLO and STATIC miners displayed just as a comparison so people can look at those trends, guessing you have that data also.
@ CSZiggy « Sun 4:27 pm »
Only the miners who omit passwords are in that group?
@ CSZiggy « Sun 4:27 pm »
"automatic" is all the miners who are NOT using a static, for either solo or pool mining correct?
@ Steve Sokolowski « Sun 2:36 pm »
at some point in the future, we’ll spend some time making sure this is a 100% equal comparison, but for now I can promise that the "automatic" line is what you earn if you mine here
@ Steve Sokolowski « Sun 2:35 pm »
the "bitcoin" bar is perfect profitability and fees and orphan rates are included in the "automatic" bar, so if we mined bitcoins 100% of the time, we would expect the bar to be lower

This is a known display issue. The price of bitcoins for the day is calculated at midnight and multiplied by the day’s earnings, while the "automatic" amount is continually updated - on days when there are large price increases early in the day, like yesterday, the multiplication causes the "BTC" field to be lower
So that explains yesterday, but the prices have gone UP and DOWN over the past 4 days. So shouldnt the UP days have put auto sha-256 over BTC mining?
It’s also possible that mining other coins has become less profitable too
