It’s a problem with prohashing, mining randomX. I tested it on 2miners, and everything is working perfectly. I lost 60% of shares during the day. Let’s see if support resolves the issue.

yeah there is a lot of those people around. The chat on Easyminer was filled with them...running weak cards getting hundreds of shares but making no money. Then they whine about not getting paid but it says right away you need to hit a threshold (which will take months with a decent card) to get a payout! A lot of people have been duped into believing that there is big money n this with little cost. (I was one of those for like a day)
You can get daily payouts of any amount if you connect a Coinbase account. Unfortunately, Coinbase has the worst customer service of any company in the world, but if you don’t have a powerful card, you can at least earn a little money that way without it all being eaten up by fees.

They said they are new to mining. They just don’t get it yet. Hell, I don’t totally get it yet, but if those numbers were from litecoinpool, the bottom line is .000033 ltc is not even a penny whether it’s 2 shares or 10,000.
@ steve_empire « Wed 8:34 pm »
My gridseed orb only gets 35 shares an hour at 512 difficulty here on prohashing, while at litecoinpool I get thousands per hour at 256 difficulty. But this is the thing, I made .02 dollars per day at prohashing.com and only .01 dollars at liitecoinpool. So I make 1 penny more here at prohasing per day. I run my gridseed for fun because I’ve had it for years, not for money, it only makes 2 peenies per day. I would like to see the difficulty here dropped down to 256 here though, just for the fun of it, it looks so much cooler mining here, watching the proswitching change coins all the time.

I tried it at d=512 and it worked bit better. Just got 88 shares in two hours. I don’t see how that can compare with 10,000 shares per hour on litecoinpool.org. But I’m just a noob in crypto. I’ll learn more eventually. I’ll stay on litecoinpool.org for my gridseeds. Thanks anyway.
I think this statement falls under the "trivially provable" rule - could you provide evidence showing the 10,000 shares? Otherwise, you’ll receive a warning and your posts will be deleted; thanks

According to https://miningpoolstats.stream/goldcoin the top 5 GLC pools are on block height 1440823 currently, and prohashing at 1437113 ... apparently there was a fork on chain after a 32MB capable block was mined.

Cardano is a Proof of Stake coin so sadly not mineable. You can be paid in it, although I can’t comment on missing payouts since I haven’t hit my threshold yet.

300 KHS for Gridseed 5-Chip Orb GC3355. While they turn their nose up at it I think it is interesting. Only 10 watts of power for Scrypt mining and you can get it for about $80 on ebay. But actually the difficulty level needs to go down to 256 before it starts rocking. Prohashing pool difficulty doesn’t go lower than 1024 which is why it doesn’t work very well. Litecoinpool.org does go down to difficulty of 256 which is why it rocks for gridseed orbs!

Yeah, I am. From what I gather, not that many people mine it so some days there’s not enough held to be able to pay it out with the optimum fees. It should pay out tomorrow.

ethash is looking quite good today...for now. Stability isn’t a thing in this whole crypto world, eh? Went dual GPU for now and running for almost 2 days without any disconnect. So yeah, can’t complain

A bit ironic that your policy is to use obsolete equipment too. Anyway it looks like your software does not adapt very well to gridseeds. It should adapt the difficulty level automatically for obsolete equipment which litecoinpool.org does.
The difficulty will adjust; it adjusts every 60 seconds, but these workers are pretty slow - after 10 minutes the problem will go away and since difficulty doesn’t affect profit, you haven’t lost any money
Maye you’re living in an alternate reality but that is totally not true. I’m getting about 10,000 shares on litecoinpool.org for every 2 shares an hour here. And that’s with an obsolete GridSeed GC3355 Orb. Maybe you should try it and see for yourself what the reality is.

These miners are obsolete, which is why they aren’t finding shares, but you can lower the difficulty to d=1024 or something like that
